You guys, I’m so excited to get up my first ever gift guide! I’m extra excited that it’s focused on gifts perfect for your little ones first year especially since this is my last baby’s first Christmas!
I was trying to keep this my top 10 list but I had to sneak in the 11th because they’re just that good. I’ve collected some of my favorite toys that grow with your child and encourage learning and moving.
(1) VTech Sit to Stand Learning Walker
This sit to stand toy is amazing because it grows with your child and provides months of fun and entertainment for your little one. The colors and sounds are so vibrant and it really helps to motivate your baby to walk.
(2) Melissa and Doug 14 Piece Wood Match and Roll Sorter
We LOVE this wooden sorter toy in our house. My little guy is fascinated with the colors and the sounds the blocks make on the inside when it rolls. It helps get him crawling chasing it around the house. This is also a toy that will grow him as he works on sorting and shapes.
(3) Fisher-Price Laugh and Learn Around the Town Learning Table
This learning table is definitely making its way under our tree this Christmas. We’ve owned earlier versions of this table with our girls and have had such a positive experience we’ve decided to order it for Oliver. This table provides endless fun and great learning games.
(4) Jonathan Adler Fisher-Price Sensory Gym
Every baby loves these play mats. These really are fantastic for those first few months and honestly the only way I could do my hair or makeup in those early days. Plus anything that encourages tummy time is a must.
(5) Fisher-Price Kick and Play Piano Gym
Ok, if you get one thing for your baby this piano gym has to be it! Seriously, at 8 months old my little man STILL loves it and when my girls were younger this was their favorite toy. I love that the piano portion flips so that your baby can play with the piano keys as they sit.
(6) Gund Flappy the Elephant
This peek a boo elephant is so much fun. It makes the cutest gift for any little one whether they’re 1 month or 10 months. I love a toy that lasts months on end.
(7) Infantino Textured Multi Ball Set
These sensory balls are great. The texture on each is different and they help motivate your little ones to move around.
(8) Stacking Cups
These stacking cups are so much fun for your babes. Not sure what it is about this simple concept of stacking but it’s sure to be a hit.
(9) Melissa & Doug Wooden ABC/123 Blocks
These simple wooden blocks provide YEARS of fun and imagination for your kids. What’s not to love?!
(10) Skip*Hop Explore & more activity center
This Skip*Hop Explore & more 3-Stage Activity Center is seriously a favorite in our house. Not only does it keep your little one busy and contained but it grows with your child. I love that once he out grows this it can become a craft table.
(11) Skip*Hop Follow-Bee Crawl Toy
I just can’t get enough of toys that promote motion. The lights and sounds on this are always fun for your little one to play.
