FINALLY, I’m getting around to sharing my recent Nordstrom try-on. I had to run up to the mall to make a return so I figured while I was there I may as well walk around and pick a few things that stood out to me. It’s not much, but the stuff I grabbed is super cute and all at amazing prices. Continue reading “Nordstrom Try-on”
Looking for a last minute gift for the guy in your life this Father’s Day? Schedule a trunk from Trunk Club with a variety of clothes and accessories for your special someone to pick from.
Lets talk basics. I’m a simple girl with simple needs, although my hubby may say otherwise, lol. Summer really is the perfect season for me. No layering required, just grab a tee, shorts and slip some sandals on while you run out the door. Continue reading “My basics summer wardrobe”
This trunk couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m trying to update my Spring/Summer wardrobe by adding some basics, along with some fun pieces, and Halley (my stylist) knocked this trunk outta the park! Continue reading “Trunk Club Try-On (May)”
Mother’s Day is just around the corner. How is that possible that we’re in May already?! 2018 my oldest has turned 10, my youngest 1, and my middle turns 5 in September! This is a big year for all of them and has me reflecting on my journey, both heartbreak and happiness to motherhood. Continue reading “My journey to motherhood”
Spring, warm days spent outside with good friends ahead ya’ll!!! My Favorite time of year is approaching quickly. I’m all about easy and these dresses I’ve picked are just that. Some dressed up more than others but all adorable and nursing friendly. Continue reading “Nursing Friendly Spring Dresses”
A few months ago I realized that my current concealer was a bit too dark to help cover those pesky dark circles, hello motherhood and lack of sleeping, so as I was in Target I quickly grabbed one to use while I was waiting for my “go to” to ship out. To my surprise I LOVED the concealer I had brought home and thought it would be fun to do a drugstore makeup review. Now I did a little research but mainly picked products that stuck out to me, whether it was the packaging or the resemblance to the “higher end” products I already owned and loved. Continue reading “Daily makeup routine using just drugstore products”
Rounding up my latest Trunk Club try-on. I’m all about keeping it real with y’all so i honestly felt this months box was a miss and I’ll tell/show you why.
Continue reading “Trunk Club Try-On (March)”
So clearly I’ve been under a rock or something but I am SO impressed with Abercrombie! I mean, I used to shop there all the time in high school but I kinda forgot all about them until I finally caved and placed an order. This weeks, weekly wants, are all items I recently ordered from them and can’t wait to share. Continue reading “Weekly Wants”
To say I was overdue for an update in the eyewear department is an understatement. I started looking up eyewear and Warby Parker popped up numerous times so I decided to give it a try. Giving a quick synopsis of my overall thoughts. Continue reading “Warby Parker”
Sharing my favorite beauty products that help achieve a well rested, sun kissed glow. Lets face it, it’s the dead of winter and I have three kids, I’m pale and am sporting around some dark circles thanks to some nightly feedings. Continue reading “Weekly Wants (achieving the summer glow mid winter)”
So February comes and all the stores roll out all their cute Spring/warm weather clothing. I don’t know about ya’ll but for me it makes me itch for all the delicate patterns and flouncy materials. This Weekly Wants is dedicated to transition some Spring pieces in early while still being weather appropriate. Continue reading “Weekly Wants (Spring transition pieces)”
Cliché I know, but I started 2018 with the intentions of being a healthier version of me. Not only that, but finding myself again. I am still nursing my youngest and an issue I’ve had while nursing is not being able to lose the last 8-10lbs of baby weight. Not sure what it is but my body just holds on tightly to it. I was sick of feeling tired and out of shape and wanted to make a promise to myself to give me time to focus on ME. Continue reading “Slimming down in the new year”
How is it February already?! January flew by and Valentines is officially under two weeks away. I’ve gathered a handful of goodies to wear this coming holiday no matter the dress code. Continue reading “Weekly Wants (Valentine)”
Alright y’all, this is it. I’ve officially cancelled my monthly subscriptions so these are my last ones for at least a little while. Why cancel, you might ask? Well, I am officially a sample size hoarder and even with giving lots away, using, or tossing I still have drawers overflowing. I’m also at the point that with over a year and a half with each box I’m getting way too many duplicates. Never say never, but for right now I need a pause from it. Continue reading “January PLAY! vs Birchbox”
Ya’ll this week has been a doozy! I’m exhausted and ready for the weekend. I am, however, so excited for this weeks wants. I decided to focus on home décor and inexpensive accents to add in. I had a lot of fun with this one, picking things with a bit of color since Spring is just around the corner. Continue reading “Weekly Wants (HOME)”
Warning, my husband is a kid and will do pretty much anything to make me laugh as you’ll see in the pictures, but that’s what makes me love him. Alright so my hubby, Jason, has a work trip coming up and needed a couple additions to his wardrobe before flying out to San Fran. I’ve had such wonderful luck lately with Trunk Club so we decided to request one for him before his trip. Continue reading “January Men’s Trunk Club Try-On”
I’m so excited for this weeks, Weekly Wants! I’m focusing on skincare products, all of which I happen to own, and I swear by each of them for different reasons. Continue reading “Weekly Wants”
Yup, I’m probably the last person to finally try essential oils. I’ve been curious for some time but hesitant because I wanted to make sure that I did my research and chose the right match for me and my family. Continue reading “Taking the plunge into essential oils”
YAY my first reoccurring post! I don’t know about you but I’m always scrolling my favorite stores websites and adding items I think are cute or interesting to the cart. I figured why not start sharing some of these with you all. Each week I’ll be posting my top favorites that range in styles and price points. Continue reading “Weekly Wants (January 13th)”
My January Trunk came in and I couldn’t be happier with the vibes of the clothes! This month I asked for items of clothes that would be comfortable to wear around the house but yet still look presentable out of the house, aka- mom life. Continue reading “January Trunk Club”
Clearly I am WAY behind over here. December was a whirlwind that ended with some type of virus making it’s way through most of our household. I’m so happy to be back at it and giving ya’ll my honest opinion on my December subscription boxes. Continue reading “Birchbox vs. PLAY! December edition”
OK, shopping for a 9 year old girl is SO hard!! Seriously, my oldest is my hardest to shop for because she’s so particular on what she likes. I’m not gonna lie but I think we nailed it this year, lol. Continue reading “Holiday Gift Guide: Girls (8-10)”
This seriously is the BEST age!!! Children are full of wonder and excitement and always see the magic of Christmas, especially are the ages of 3-5. Here are a few of our favorite toys we own and some we have on our Christmas wish list. Continue reading “Holiday gift guide: Preschoolers”

I had an overwhelming response to share my current evening skincare routine with y’all. As I’ve mentioned before, since turning the big 3-0, taking care of my skin has become a larger priority for me. Since having a routine dedicated to skincare is relatively new to me keeping it simple is KEY!! Continue reading “My Current PM Skincare Routine”
Wanted to jump on here and give a quick review of my most recent PLAY! and Birch boxes. Ya’ll know how much I look forward to my monthly subscription boxes and this month was no different. Continue reading “November edition of PLAY! Vs Birchbox”
So excited to finally have my living room put back together. Just a few more decorative changes but the bulk of it is D.O.N.E. Continue reading “Making a statement with Shiplap”
So I’m officially in my second month of taking TULA probiotics. I haven’t seen a crazy difference in my skin complexion YET but I’ve noticed a huge difference in my digestion and energy levels! I have no doubts that my skin will make a change shortly. One of my favorite blogs actually just did a review of them and I couldn’t agree more. Click here to read Katey’s experience. She was actually smart enough and took notes daily and it’s amazing to see her body’s reaction to missing a dose or two.
Ok y’all. Right off the bat I’m gonna be honest and admit that I have a love hate relationship with this service. The concept is amazing! I mean having access to a personal stylist at any point you want/need is awesome. Continue reading “Trunk Club “
I’m currently at that point in my life where comfort is key. I mean between school drop offs/pick ups and chasing an almost 8 month old around all day I’m beat. So, because I can’t just hang out in my PJ’s all day I had to come up with the next best thing. Continue reading “How I style joggers for the Fall “
The name of the game is EASY! The hubs is leaving to go out of town this coming weekend so I decided to grab a little extra that way all I would need to do is quickly run to the local store and grab fresh produce instead of full fledge meal planning while he’s gone. Continue reading “Trader Joe’s Haul 10/23 – 10/31”
I feel as a mom of three I was meant for this post. I mean who has time to wash their hair everyday anyways?! I’ve tried quite a few different brands but I’ve narrowed it down to these seven.
Typically my hair can make it 2 days after washing before it starts to get a little sketch. The plan is to try a new dry shampoo on my 3 day hair and see how it feels and how long I can make it last. I’ll write down my thoughts on each one; the good, bad and the ugly. Continue reading “The battle of the dry shampoos”
As ya’ll know, I love me a subscription box. My two favorites, and the ones that I’ve had the longest, are the Sephora PLAY! and BIRCHBOX. Who doesn’t love a good mail day and getting the opportunity to try new beauty products?! These two subscriptions are always so fun and usually there’s a clear “winner” each month. Continue reading “October PLAY! vs BIRCH boxes “
OK, so how awkward is it to talk about deodorants but with October being breast cancer awareness month I thought it was only fitting to share my reasons for switching things up in that department. Continue reading “Making the switch to a natural deodorant”
A new week means a new meal plan. We made the trek again this week to our favorite grocery store for a few staples and some missing ingredients.
I swear every time we are in Trader Joe’s we discover something new to us. I especially love how it brings my kids out of their “food rut” and they explore new flavors. Continue reading “Trader Joe’s haul 10/16-10/20”
Alright, finally received my SEPTEMBER PLAY! box after a little mishap with the shipping.
If you’re not familiar with Sephora’s PLAY! box, it’s their monthly subscription that includes 5-6 deluxe samples of various beauty products. It’s $10 billed monthly and it allows me to try products before purchasing. I love it! Continue reading “September PLAY! By Sephora box “
As a busy mom of three, one being my sweet little 7 month old boy, I only have a few moments to myself a day. I don’t do my makeup every morning but when I do it needs to be quick and easy. I’ve finally been able to find the best products that not only cover my lack of sleep but lasts throughout the day. (Even with drooling fingers grabbing at my face.) Continue reading “My 5 minute face”
As a family we try to eat a balanced diet. In order for us to stick with a healthy(ish) lifestyle we meal plan weekly. It’s always fun to get the girls involved in coming up with a menu and it pretty much guarantees that they’ll eat their food and avoid those “picky” eater moments. A bonus to the meal planning is that it also saves money, we go to the store with a mission and a list and usually are pretty good to sticking with it. Continue reading “Trader Joe’s haul 10/9-10/13”
Now that my third baby is almost 7 months (where has the time gone) I’ve decided to put together a list of my must have baby items. The first few months can be tough. You’re getting adjusted and more then likely are lacking majorly on sleep. I’ve compiled a list of products that really are worth it. Continue reading “Top 10 baby items you don’t always think of”
Something my husband and I love doing is finding a new project to do for the house. We’ve recently moved and are currently focusing on putting the playroom together. We happen to own a small media cabinet from Crate and Barrel but unfortunately has been destroyed over time and well, kids. Instead of getting rid of it we held on to it during the move in the hopes of giving it a new life. We decided the playroom was the right spot but still wanted it to look good since it’s the first thing you’ll see as you walk up the stairs. Continue reading “Turning something old into something new”
